There are several types of travel.
From those that cause you euphoria and excitement.
On vacation, a festival, a seminar, or a weekend.
In the country or out of the state.
Travels.
From the ones that make you sad.
They are short.
But it doesn't change much, it is still a separation.
Mostly outside the country.
But when the soul gets used to someone... That one week seems like a whole year to you.
You got used to her rejuvenating morning kisses, and now you must wake up with an alarm.
You were warming up in her arms, and now you must wrap yourself in a blanket.
You were waking up with her face, now you're staring at the phone.
You are scrolling unnecessarily on Instagram. You don't even read the posts.
You had no clue where your phone was beside her, and now you don't let it go.
In case she sends you a message do not wait for too long for an answer, and you will be available immediately.
She sang around the house, decorated your house with her voice, and now who will sing for you?
Advertisements on TV so that there won't be silence. Because your thoughts are louder.
Ahh trips.
You come up with excuses not to go, and it is mandatory. You can't cancel. Your character doesn't allow it.
And I would give anything to cancel the damn trip.
And of course, some hurt.
They leave you waiting.
The countdown to departure is exhausting.
At the airport, the last moments together.
It hurts equally on both sides.
Leaving hurts as much as waiting.
When will you come back?
Will you come back?
You won't forget me, will you?
You are not allowed to.
There is no such option.
Have a good time, and come back soon, okay?
I'm waiting for you here.
Disclaimer:
The stories are seasoned with a lot of drama, and the characters are fictional because the drama starts when logic ends. ☺
